Fire Arrangements and Provisions for Filming and Recording the Meeting

Minutes:

The Clerk to the meeting explained the procedure to be followed in the event of a fire and the arrangements and constraints relating to filming or recording parts or all of the Meeting.

Declarations of Interest

To receive declarations of interest from Members including the terms(s) of the Grant of Dispensation (if any) by the Audit Board or Managing Director.

Minutes:

The Chairman declared that he had a prejudicial financial interest in item 7 on the Agenda, application 14/01579/FUL, and reported that he would withdraw from the meeting during the discussion of that item.

Minutes:

The Chairman, Councillor Hunnisett, declared a prejudicial, financial interest in this application as he owned adjacent land.  He withdrew from the meeting and took no part in the discussion of the application.  Councillor Bardoe chaired the meeting during the consideration of the matter.

 

The Board considered a report on an application seeking permission to convert an existing dwelling into two self - contained 2 bedroom units incorporating the erection of single storey extensions with ancillary parking and bin storage.

 

RESOLVED

 

That the application be approved subject to the conditions, reasons and informatives contained in the report.

An outline application for a residential development for up to 110 mixed tenure units, with a new vehicular access to Craylands Lane, and  including emergency access and the creation of a development platform and associated works including the demolition of existing buildings.

(Identical to a previous planning permission which has recently expired)

Minutes:

The Board considered a report on an outline application for a residential development of up to 110 mixed tenure units, a new vehicular access to Craylands Lane, including emergency access and the creation of a development platform.  The application also sought permission for associated works including the demolition of existing buildings on the land.

 

Members’ attention was drawn to the update circulated.

 

It was noted that the applicant had asked for some minor amendments to the conditions proposed in the report and that these had been set out in the update.

That the outline application is approved subject to the

 

1.    Conditions, reasons and informatives as set out in the report

 

2.    Those amendments to conditions as set out in the update circulated to Members.

Recommendation

That a proposed Tree Preservation Order No 2 to protect an Oak tree at this address be confirmed.

Minutes:

The Board considered a report on a proposed Tree Preservation Order for the protection of a single Oak tree at 125 Woodlands Park, Bexley Kent.

 

Member’s attention was drawn to the update circulated.

 

The Chairman introduced Mrs Sandra Gallagher who spoke opposing the imposition of the Order and Mr Board who supported it.

 

RESOLVED

 

That Tree Preservation Order No. 2, 2014 – 125 Woodlands Park Bexley Kent DA5 2EW be confirmed without modifications

Minutes:

The Board received a report on statistics relating to the performance of the Development Control Section the period October to December 2014.

 

While Members congratulated Officers at the continuing level of achievement in dealing with applications and enforcement, Councillor Armitt asked that some attention be given to a number of long standing enforcement cases which required resolution.
