The Cabinet received a report which proposed that two new roads, which were part of the development at the junction of Craylands Lane and London Road, should be named Bazley and Cresswell. The proposed names, which tied in with existing street names in the area and maintained a historic link, had been subject to consultation with Members, Emergency Services, Royal Mail, the local Parish Council, Kent Police and the developer. The names complied with the Council’s policy on Street Naming and the responses to the consultation received from Members, Kent Police and Royal Mail favoured the proposed names. There had been no further responses to the consultation.
That the two new road names for the development at the junction of Craylands Lane and London Road be approved as Bazley and Cresswell.
